Hibernation 03:31
Drunk on Disneyland as the judge takes his stand and my brothers pray for rain. Weapons for war and the freedom of a few scared to know ourselves as the curtain pulls the cue. And the soul goes down deeper still. If a child saw its family killed by magic machines will she forgive or join the marines? In a hundred years no one will know my name and the princess is confused in the pointlessness of fame. And the soul goes down deeper still. The tyrannical reign of the powers that be. Christmas mornings that slaves prepared for me. Father waits in horizon sky for us to return from prodigal life. And the soul goes down you know where it will. This little light of mine wasn’t mine to begin with how could I let it shine on my own? And the soul goes down and the soul cries out to be still.

Sometimes it feels so wrong. In a dark desert home kind of like Mexico. And I hear the phone when love calls. it’s unknown but I know it’s for me. Don’t mistake whose I am a little boy walking downtown munching on some bread. This heart heard the news my man. The times won’t believe at all. Sometimes it feels so alone. Like when she doesn’t call or I’m far from home. The devil tries to destroy me but I love his enemy someone he can’t defeat. Don’t mistake whose I am a little boy walking downtown munching on some bread. This heart heard the news my man. The times won’t believe at all. There are things we can’t ignore. I have wounds I can’t afford. Don’t mistake I lack some faith but no one else makes me new. No one else is the truth.

Zona 02:17
As I drive the sun mountain roads miles remind who I remember most. Over the hill down through the woods stories survive. Like when Peter lied to learn or Grandmas songs discern what the snowman leaves behind. How we arrived at this old age in prison cells to share feeling the calm wind move the air with cracks in our face. Over hill down through the woods Arizona’s on fire. Smokey smelled the fumes the Pilate had to choose when home was hard to find. How we arrived so afraid as hope shines above feeling the sky burn the stars we name that live to fall in love. As I drive the sun mountain roads miles remind who I depend on most.

Mighty Oaks 04:37
Heart hurt on the cold floor. Her eyes are closed and I don’t know. A fire inside me wants free. Can’t contain what I can’t breathe. Our neighbors know no good on their own passing foreign blood on cruise control. The sound of life owed I feel it all when quiet nights warm forgotten thought. And this one it’s on me when I fell so far beneath. Tears sure confess there’s more to love. Lord knows to well that I’ve been wrong. Wedding bells repent for youth alone as freedom calls without the dial tone. Deep down you know they’re here for you strange friends who don’t show up too soon. And this one it’s on me when I fell so far beneath. A sister knows her brothers heart. Over the phone it feels so hard to breathe because I lost everything. Where am I to go when I feel so ashamed and I need the mighty oaks?

Honey Bee 01:14
Wildflower dances in her hair. Broken smile to see if I care. It seems you were made for me. And I’ve seen this all before. Pain hides near the core. Still she believes love lasts despite the sting.

With all good friends here we’ll go out at night to see. You look grand dear. Need I words to mean? We’re not alone and you’re on. We’ll all sing along. Mind your soul and come along it sure feels like home to me. Good times have returned to this town above the earth with love we’ve learned to need. With all good friends here we’ll go out at night to see. You look grand dear. Need I words to mean? We’re not alone and you’re on. We’ll all sing along. Mind your soul and come along it sure feels like home to me. Good times have returned to this town above the earth with love we’ve learned to need. We’re not alone and you’re on. We’re not alone and you’re on so sing along. Mind your soul and come along it sure feels like home to me. Good times have returned to this town above the earth with love we’ve learned to need. With all good friends here we’ll go out at night to see.

Wedding Day 03:36
Hiding a young girls smile. It's your wedding day the sun's about to rise. Sister I know you're awake. Papa's already crying. Old hearts walk down the aisle remembering when you were just a child. It's your wedding day and it's about time. Bells will ring as you dress in white. I'm your brother. I'm your friend. I pray you teach that boy how to be a man. It's your wedding day and your brother's already crying.

E.R. 03:25
No one here can know what I mean unless you've died and woken up in a dream. See I had a plan but some things fell through in a heart broken land with a few words to use. Down below I lost my friend. The question still stands how will I love again? When we say those words there's not much left to do but pray to the bone and rest in the truth. All along the way remember your grace that goes beyond what we can't replace. When I pass on and Jesus is on call. Time will stop at the door for that smile I missed before.

Soil 02:59
I can hear Grandma sing in the hallway. Remember when cousins came from far away? The son did rise for more than time change and ground to turn a face? Often lungs are sewn as two. Her treasured eyes breathe a tune. While my heart takes its root. I will fail you. I'll let you down. Please forgive me when my breathe runs out. Know I need you more than it sounds. You're the closest one I'll ever know. Is it ok if I call you my home? Around this family tree. I fell in love and found a seed.
